Home Renovation / Addition, CT
Architecture
Project Name : A House That Connects
Connecticut 2011 Total renovation of the Cape Cod house built in 1940s. “House that Connects” links its inside and outside, its room to the next room, and its ground floor to the second. The transformation was made by eliminating walls, adding new windows, and redirecting staircases. It created a complete circle within the house and conversation with the landscape. The basic tone of interior design is soft contemporary with clean lines/surfaces in white or wood finish that matches with the traditional look of the house. (c) Photography by Carl Vernlund
